Jumping on the bandwagon?

So, I follow several blogs and I always see these witty posts and wonder "where do they get this stuff?"!  I'm rather intimidated by the whole blog thing.  As it is I have Artfire, Etsy, Twitter and Facebook to contend with...should I take on another "task"?  Good question but here goes!

This being my first blog I think I'll give a shout out to some shops I have bought from and/or traded with.  In the world of Etsy I've met some really great people/shopowners!  Some of us like to trade for things we would never even fathom being able to make ourselves!  Like this bracelet for instance:

Another of my favorite shops I've bought from and traded with is http://etsy.com/shop/Hippiechickboutique.  She has some of the awesomest, most unique towels!  As she says "These aren't your grandmother's dish towels! These are a fun and funky updated version".  I have 2 sets for myself and a set to give my grandmother for Christmas!  Check out these gorgeous fall towels!

Have a holiday party to plan?  A wedding?  A birthday party?  I am at the tail end of planning my daughters birthday party and I ordered some really cute cupcake toppers and Lollipop sucker party favors from http://www.etsy.com/shop/PinkyCrafts.  Having a Halloween extravaganza?  Check this out:

Last but not least is a shop that several members of the Etsy team the Dteam have contributed to, myself included.  The shop announcement explains where the money goes "Kristi Lowery Lim lost her battle with breast cancer last summer mere months after being diagnosed. Kristi was a dear college friend of my husband and a fellow physical therapist. To honor Kristi, and support her family, my husband has set up college saving funds for her three young daughters. Nothing will replace the loss of their mother, but we hope to help them carry on with positive memories and a successful future.

100% of all sales go to 529 State College Investment funds for Kristi's three young daughters. Items listed in this shop are donated by other generous Etsy sellers."  Reach out and help these little girls out, if you can, please!!

I understand I am talking to myself right now but hopefully soon I'll have a follower or two...yep, that's you if you are reading this!  Hope you have enjoyed my very first blog! ;)
